Dental Bonding
Chipped, cracked, or discolored teeth can detract from an otherwise gorgeous smile.
Dental bonding is a cosmetic treatment that conceals imperfections with the application of a tooth-colored composite resin material.
Drs. Ruth E. Bailey and Kasey R. Sliger perform bonding at our Knoxville, TN, practice using biomimetic materials for optimal strength.
When Is Dental Bonding Recommended?
Bonding can address a wide range of aesthetic flaws. Our dental team may recommend this procedure to:
Conceal chips and cracks
Alter the shape or size of a tooth
Cover discoloration

Biomimetic Materials for Optimal Strength
At Cosmetic Dentistry of Knoxville, our doctors use only the highest-quality materials available. For cosmetic bonding, we use a biomimetic approach to enhance the teeth using minimally invasive processes and natural-looking materials. The two primary biomimetic dentistry materials used at our practice are Kuraray and OMNICHROMA. These materials produce a bond that is 400 percent stronger than conventional dental bonding materials. OMNICHROMA also picks up the color of the surrounding tooth structure, so patients can undergo teeth whitening and the color will still match.

My husband and I had such a great first time experience at Ruth E. Bailey D.D.S office! Everyone was super friendly, the office was so clean, and we spent so much time with the Dentist. We are excited to have their group as our new dentist! Very glad we made the switch.
Dr. Bailey and all of her staff are very kind, caring, attentive, and professional. I have already recommended Dr. Bailey to several people as her and her staff have made my two experiences there so far very pleasant! I highly recommend if you are looking for an excellent dentist.
