Laser Dentistry

Do the loud sounds, pressure, and smell associated with a dentist's drill stop you from having the dental treatment you need?

If you dislike dentist drills, find out how laser dentistry at Cosmetic Dentistry of Knoxville can make your procedure much more pleasant...

How Does Dentistry with Lasers Work?

  • Our FDA-approved laser system can be used for a wide range of dental care such as gum reshaping, gum disease treatment, and removing decay prior to treating a cavity.

A Typical Laser Dentistry Timeline

Our Knoxville office uses this and other advanced technology to provide you with outstanding treatment.

Day of Procedure

Our Knoxville office uses this and other advanced technology to provide you with outstanding treatment.
Dr. Bailey starts each appointment with a one-on-one consultation, at which time she will discuss your cosmetic goals and examine your teeth and gums. Then, she will customize a precise treatment plan to suit your needs.
Dr. Bailey may first administer anesthetic, depending on the case and your comfort level.
The laser system emits a beam of light instead of relying on rotary hardware to treat your tooth or other tissues.
The light energy sterilizes gum tissue, breaks up and removes decayed material, removes lesions, and can even act as a heating source for teeth whitening.
Once the treatment is complete, you can leave our Knoxville office with an enhanced smile.
